Four Pashto films set to make a splash this Eidul Fitr

PESHAWAR: At least four Pashto films are ready to create a stir in cinemas on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, which will provide entertainment to the cinema-goers and help revive the ailing regional film industry.

Famous film director and star Arbaz Khan said, “Films with quality production, dialogues, cast, locations, and soulful music will mesmerize the audience and greatly enhance the joy of the Eid festival.”

He said that film directors and producers have pinned their hopes on the production quality, delivery of dialogues, cast, locations, and the power of music for the films.

Among the films to be presented for the exhibition is ‘Yaar Dushman,’ directed by Arbaz Khan, with a cast that includes Arbaz Khan, Ajab Gul, Jahangir Jani, Asif Khan, and Jameel Babar.

Speaking to the media, Arbaz Khan said that Pashto films have the potential to earn significant profits. He expressed hope that the release of new films will aid in the revival of the film industry this Eidul Fitr.

He said that the producers and artists of Pashto films have shown resilience and kept cinemas alive even during the toughest times, providing entertainment to the people.

Another film ready for release this Eidul Fitr is ‘Bandiwan,’ directed by Shahid Usman, with a cast that includes Arbaz Khan, Shahid Khan, and Jahangir Jani.

‘Pekhawar Zama De’ is another Pashto film, directed by Shanzayb Khan, with a cast that includes Arbaz Khan, Asghar Cheema, and Mehak Noor, which will be released this Eid.

Meanwhile, the fourth Pashto film ready for release, directed by Arshad Khan, is ‘Charta Khana Charta Faqira,’ with a cast that includes Shahid Khan and Jahangir Jani.
