Gold price drops in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,600 per tola on Tuesday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of gold dropped to Rs435,436 per tola, while the price of 10 grams declined by Rs3,086 to Rs373,316.

Gold prices remained unchanged in local bullion markets on Monday.

Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by international market rates, fluctuations in the rupee-dollar exchange rate and global economic and geopolitical developments. Investor demand for gold as a safe-haven asset can also affect prices amid economic and political uncertainty.
