Gold prices increase

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed an increase of Rs 8,100 on Wednesday according to the Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers’ Association (APSGJA).

After the increase, the price of the gold metal per tola reached Rs 231,900. The price of 10 grams stands at Rs198,220 witnessing a decrease of Rs5,402.

On Tuesday the gold rate witnessed a dip and was recorded at 223,800 per tola.

Gold prices decline in Pakistan

Gold traders and investors have been advised to keep an eye on market fluctuations and make informed decisions accordingly.

Separately, the Pakistani Rupee showed a fluctuating trend in the international currency market today against the US Dollar. Early in the morning, PKR appreciated by 50  paisa in open market, according to forex dealers, trading at Rs 306.50 to the USD.
