BEVERLY HILLS: Hollywood fans have been buzzing on social media, searching for their favorite actors’ standings after the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards nominees were announced on Monday.
Officials from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) confirmed that the Golden Globes 2026 Awards ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026, officially kicking off awards season. Eleven exclusive categories were revealed on CBS Mornings, while stars Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall announced the full list of nominees.
This year’s film lineup spans blockbuster hits to unexpected indie favorites. For the first time, the Globes will also recognize audio content with a new Best Podcast category, allowing creators to compete alongside film and TV heavyweights.
Among the top nominees and honorees: Paul Thomas Anderson for One Battle After Another, Helen Mirren, who will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contributions to entertainment, and Sarah Jessica Parker, who will receive the Carol Burnett Award for significant contributions to television.

The ceremony will air live at 8 PM ET on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+.
Celebrating its 79th year, the Golden Globes honor outstanding achievements in film and television, recognizing both Hollywood blockbusters and critically acclaimed indie productions. The awards are widely regarded as a major indicator of the upcoming Oscars season.
