This sample includes the names, addresses, and phone numbers of several Pakistani citizens. The hackers are also claiming that they have stolen data from more than 250 restaurants.

The price of the data is being demanded for 2 bitcoins. One bitcoin is currently worth approximately $27,000. This means that the hackers are demanding approximately $54,000 for the data of 22 million Pakistani citizens.

According to sources, the hackers’ advertisement contains names of restaurants, both small and large. A specific software is used by hundreds of restaurants in Pakistan.

The CEO of the company that provides software to restaurants, Saad Jangra, said that no data was leaked from their system. He said that the software meets all security protocols and does not store any customer’s extremely personal information. He also said that customer payment details are stored directly on the bank’s portal, not on the restaurant’s software.
