Hassan Ali replies to social media user on retirement demand

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s fast bowler Hassan Ali received a unique request for his retirement from a social media user.

On the social media platform, Twitter, a user named “Wazir” shared a video of Peshawar Zalmi’s bowler Arshad Iqbal’s bowling, commenting, “Watch his bowling, extra bounce, he rarely bowls a bad ball, and he has to work hard to make the batters earn their runs.”

While tagging Hassan Ali, the social media user added a humorous comment, saying, “Hassan Ali, just retire now.”

In response to the request for his retirement, Hassan Ali humorously wrote, “There’s no doubt that Arshad is a great bowler, but why should I retire? I’m only a 29-year-old young man.”

Selection conundrum for PCT: potential replacements for Naseem Shah

Hasan Ali was not included in the Pakistan squad for the tournament due to his poor performance in the previous series. He also missed the training camp before the Asia Cup due to a back injury.
