Here’s the official notification from Punjab school department regarding extension of winter vacations in schools

LAHORE: The government of Punjab’s school education department has issued an official notification today regarding an extension in winter holidays in Lahore and other cities of the province.

“In continuation of this department’s notification of even No. dared 01.12.2023 winter vacations in all Public and Private schools in the province of Punjab are hereby extended up to 09.01.2023,’ the notification issued by the school department of Punjab read.

According to the official notification, all the schools in Punjab will re-open on January 10, 2024.

The notification applies solely to schools in Punjab. As of now, there is no official communication from the Punjab government regarding extensions for colleges, universities, and other educational institutions in the province.

The notification also emphasizes that the restrictions on wearing face masks within school premises will continue to be enforced
