High-profile terrorist killed in intelligence-based operation in Bajaur: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Wednesday killed a terrorist commander in an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur District.

“During the conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange, Terrorist Commander Irfan Ullah @Adnan was sent to hell. He was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion & target killings of innocent civilians, and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies,” the press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations Pakistan (ISPR) read.

Local residents praised the operation and wholeheartedly supported the Security Forces in eradicating terrorism from the country.

Earlier today, at least five people, including former senator Hidayat Ullah, were killed in a “remote-controlled” bomb explosion targeting a vehicle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaurdistrict on Wednesday, according to police.
