An actor known for his role in The Hunger Games is facing serious criminal charges after an alleged shooting incident in the United States.
Ethan Jamieson, 27, has been charged with three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill following an incident in Raleigh, North Carolina, according to court records.
Alleged shooting incident under investigation
Police say the incident took place on the evening of March 22, when officers responded to reports of gunfire just before 10pm local time.
According to a spokesperson for the Raleigh Police Department, a victim reported that an unidentified individual riding an e-bike fired a shot at their moving vehicle.
Two additional occupants were also inside the vehicle at the time. Investigators later identified Jamieson as the suspect allegedly responsible for discharging a firearm in the direction of the car.
Court documents cited in reports state that the weapon involved was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
Court hearing set as details emerge

Jamieson was taken into custody and has since been refused bail. He is scheduled to appear in court for a disposition hearing on April 30.
Arrest records indicate this is not his first run-in with law enforcement. He was previously arrested in March 2025 on a charge of resisting a public officer.
Jamieson is best known for a minor role in The Hunger Games, where he portrayed the male tribute from District 4 in the 2012 film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novel.
The blockbuster franchise starred Jennifer Lawrence, alongside Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
As a child actor, Jamieson also appeared in television series including One Tree Hill and Justified.
The case remains ongoing.
