‘I am clearly winning’, as things are going very well: Trump

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump made a series of strong claims regarding the situation with Iran, asserting that the United States is “clearly winning” and that developments are progressing in a positive direction.

He claimed that Iran’s navy has been completely destroyed and its air force has been rendered helpless.

Trump said that regime change has already taken place in Iran, adding that the economic blockade on Iran will not be lifted until a deal is reached.

According to the US President, sanctions are causing Iran a daily loss of around $500 million.

He also claimed that Iran no longer has any missile or air defence capability.

Trump accused the “fake news media” of wanting the enemy to win, adding that he would not allow that to happen.
