ICC reveals latest rankings across formats

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) updated its rankings across different game formats and genders on Wednesday.
In Test cricket, Australia leads with 124 rating points, closely followed by India at 120 points. England holds the third spot with 108 points, while South Africa and New Zealand complete the top five.

In contrast, the one day international (ODI) rankings highlight a shift. India tops the ODI charts with 118 points, just ahead of Australia, which has 116 points.
Meanwhile, South Africa ranks third with 112 points, while Pakistan and New Zealand round out the top five.
In the T20 International (T20I) rankings, India against leads by a wide margin of 267 points. Australia, the West Indies, England, and New Zealand follow behind. The gap between the points in T20 ranking is significant compared to the more modest gap in Tests and ODIs.
In batting, Joe Root leads the Test rankings with 881 points, followed by Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Harry Brook, and Steven Smith.
In ODIs, Babar Azam tops with 824 points, with Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Harry Tector following behind.
Meanwhile, in the T20I batting rankings, Travis Head is at the top with 844 points, followed by Suryakumar Yadav, Phil Salt, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Babar Azam.
Bowling rankings show Ravichandran Ashwin leading in Tests with 870 points, alongside Josh Hazlewood and Jasprit Bumrah, who are tied for second.
In ODIs, Keshav Maharaj leads with 716 points, while Adil Rashid tops the T20I rankings with 718 points. .
The all-rounder rankings feature Ravindra Jadeja leading in Tests with 444 points, while Mohammad Nabi tops the ODI all-rounder list with 320 points. While in T20Is, Marcus Stoinis is at the top with 211 points.
Women’s rankings
For women’s cricket, Australia emerged on the number one spot. In ODIs, they lead with a rating of 163, followed by England, South Africa, India, and New Zealand.
In T20Is, Australia again leads with 294 points, while England, India, New Zealand, and South Africa follow.
Natalie Sciver-Brunt leads the ODI batting rankings with 783 points, followed by Laura Wolvaardt, Smriti Mandhana, Chamari Athapaththu, and Beth Mooney.
For T20Is, Beth Mooney tops with 769 points, followed by Tahlia McGrath, Hayley Matthews, Smriti Mandhana, and Laura Wolvaardt.

Sophie Ecclestone leads both the ODI and T20I bowling rankings.
Meanwhile, Natalie Sciver-Brunt leads the ODI all-rounder rankings with 412 points, and Hayley Matthews tops the T20I all-rounder list with 524 points.
