Interim LHC chief justice to be appointed

LAHORE: The Ministry of Law has issued a notification appointing Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh as the acting Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

He will assume his new role from tomorrow.

The appointment comes as LHC Chief Justice Alia Neelam is set to travel abroad, according to sources.
