Interim PM set to address UN General Assembly today


NEW YORK: Caretaker prime minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar will address the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly today.

Caretaker PM’s speech is expected to commence at 8 pm Pakistan time.

The prime minister is also slated to hold a crucial meeting with his Dutch counterpart, fostering diplomatic ties and discussions on matters of mutual concern.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister has scheduled meetings with Pakistani nationals working within the United Nations Secretariat, providing an opportunity to connect with the Pakistani diaspora contributing to international affairs. Additionally, he will engage with Pakistani media representatives in New York, addressing their inquiries and providing insights into Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives.
