Iran’s Araghchi delivers Iran’s written ‘red lines’ to Pakistani officials

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during his visit to Pakistan, has handed over Iran’s written conditions for the United States to Pakistani officials, according to diplomatic sources.

Iranian media reports say the document clearly outlines Tehran’s “red lines” regarding its nuclear programme and issues related to the Strait of Hormuz.

During the visit, the Iranian foreign minister also discussed key matters including new regulations for the Strait of Hormuz, lifting of blockades, compensation, and non-aggression arrangements.

Sources said Araghchi also held high-level meetings with Pakistan’s political and military leadership, including two meetings with Field Marshal Asim Munir within 24 hours, before departing for Russia after a brief stay in Islamabad.
