Rumours claiming that Seth Rogen has died at the age of 44 have spread widely online, but there is no evidence to support the claim.

Where did the rumour start?

The claim appears to have originated from obscure websites and social media accounts, including at least one self-described parody account. Some of the sites spreading the rumour were newly created and designed to mimic legitimate news outlets.

Despite lacking credible sourcing, the posts quickly gained traction and were widely shared.

No confirmation from credible sources

Searches across major news platforms show no verified reports confirming Rogen’s death. There has also been no statement from his representatives or family.

The actor’s social media accounts show no indication of any such incident, further undermining the claims.

The rumour appears to have been fuelled in part by online discussions referencing a fictional character death linked to the series The Boys, leading some users to misinterpret the context.

Not the first time

This is not the first time Rogen has been the subject of a viral death hoax. A similar false claim circulated in 2021 before being debunked.

Such rumours continue to spread rapidly on social media, often gaining attention before being verified.

There is currently no evidence that Seth Rogen has died.
