Ishaq Dar named chairman of PML-N election cell

LAHORE: In a strategic move aimed at bolstering election preparations, Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has appointed former finance minister Ishaq Dar as the chairman of the party’s election cell.

Hearing set for PTI chairman in Toshakhana case

This decision was communicated through an official notification issued by the party’s Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal.

The move has garnered attention as it is anticipated to accelerate and streamline the election-related activities within the PML-N. Prominent party member, Maryam Aurangzeb, emphasised that entrusting Ishaq Dar with this role will play a pivotal role in expediting the party’s election-related efforts.
