Islamabad: 19 judges of lower courts reshuffled

ISLAMABAD: In a major reshuffle, 19 judges of subordinate courts in Islamabad have been have been transferred approved.
The transfer of judges included the relocation of 10 judges from the district and sessions courts West to East and the transfer of nine judges from the district and sessions courts East to West.

A notification for these transfers was issued by the registrar following the approval of the Islamabad High Court chief justice.
This move comes after the judges served in the same locations for more than three years.
Such rotations are not uncommon within the judicial system, as they help prevent stagnation and ensure that judges gain diverse experience in handling different types of cases.
The reallocation of judges is also aimed at improving the overall distribution of judicial resources and workload management within the district and session courts in the capital.
