Islamabad residents to experience 12 hours gas disruption on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has released a gas suspension plan for October 5, Wednesday, affecting various sectors of Islamabad, including F5, F6, F7, F8, G5, G6, G7, and G8.

According to an SNGPL spokesperson, the gas supply will be suspended for 12 hours from 8am to 8pm. This interruption is necessary to conduct essential maintenance on gas pipelines in Sector F-8, aimed at improving the gas system.

In a press release, the spokesperson strongly advised residents in the mentioned sectors to make necessary alternative arrangements during this period.

Furthermore, SNGPL cautioned against the use of gas-powered appliances during the maintenance work for safety reasons.
