Jennifer Aniston’s ex Justin Theroux is set to become a first-time father

Justin Theroux, the former husband of Jennifer Aniston, is set to become a father for the first time, seven years after his divorce from the Friends star was finalised.

Theroux, 54, is expecting a baby with his wife, actress Nicole Brydon Bloom, according to a report confirmed by People. The outlet said the couple are preparing to welcome their first child together, although Bloom’s due date has not been publicly disclosed.

The actor and filmmaker was previously married to Aniston from 2015 until their separation in late 2017. Their divorce was finalised a year later, with both maintaining an amicable relationship since.

Theroux and Bloom, who is 23 years his junior, first sparked dating rumours in early 2023. They quietly tied the knot earlier this year after keeping much of their relationship out of the spotlight. Their engagement was confirmed in 2024 after the couple were photographed together in Italy while supporting Theroux’s film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

In past interviews, Theroux has spoken openly about wanting to keep his personal life private following his highly publicised marriage to Aniston. In 2023, he said he preferred to stay out of the spotlight when it came to relationships, adding that he was no longer interested in public commentary about his love life.

Despite their split, Theroux and Aniston have remained on good terms. Reports previously suggested he was a source of support for the actress following the death of her father in 2022.

Aniston, meanwhile, has recently been linked to hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, with reports claiming the actress is serious about the relationship.

For now, the focus remains on Theroux and Bloom as they prepare to welcome their first child.
