KP CM urges peace, prefers prosperity over conflict


The KP CM Gandapur stated,

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Amin Gandapur stated that his government was committed to pursuing prosperity and development for the country without engaging in conflict on Thursday.

The KP CM Gandapur stated, “We do not want to fight with anyone; we want prosperity and development of the country.”

Gandapur asserted ownership over key institutions of the state. He declared that the country’s army, police, judiciary, and people belong to ‘them’. “The country’s army, police, judiciary, and people are ours.”

The CM also extended a gesture of reconciliation by stating, “We have forgiven everyone in the government.”

Addressing allegations made against him, Gandapur acknowledged the existence of fake papers being circulated in his name across eight districts. Despite facing such challenges, he remains resolute in his stance.

In response to perceived threats from governor rule within KP, Gandapur maintained his resolve, stating, “Ali Amin Gandapur is not afraid of threats from the Governor”. He further stated that any attempt to impose governance through force would be met with resistance from the people.

Gandapur reiterated the authority of the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, asserting, “In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is not a governor’s rule, but a people’s rule.”
