Lahore man murders gf for parting ways, commits suicide

LAHORE:  A man in Lahore murdered his girlfriend after she decided to part ways with him, and later committed suicide when the police came to arrest him.

According to the details, the man named Hanan had been in a relationship with the daughter of a former deputy director at the Election Commission, who coincidentally was his classmate. However, differences drove a wedge between the couple, leading to their separation.

Feeling upset, the young man shot the girl in Lahore two days ago and then went to his hometown Mandi Bahauddin.

The police found the man’s house in Mandi Bahauddin to catch him. He went to the roof of his house and shot himself in the head using a gun.

Separately, a man has been accused of brutally axing his teenage daughter to death in what appears to be an “honour killing” in the Manghopir area of Karachi.
