RAWALPINDI: Deputy Commander-in-chief of the Libyan Armed Forces Lt-Gen Saddam Khalifa Haftar called on Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Both the generals discussed regional security and expand bilateral defence cooperation, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

Upon his arrival at the GHQ, Haftar was presented with a guard of honour by a tri-services contingent representing Pakistan’s army, navy, and air force, the ISPR said.
