Mawra Hocane, Ameer Gilani welcome baby boy

Pakistani actors Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani have announced the arrival of their baby boy, naming him Syed Azmar Hussain Kamal Gilani.

The couple shared the news with fans on Instagram on Friday, describing their newborn as their “littlest most precious treasure” and calling him the “king of our jungle” and their pride.

A video shared alongside the announcement shows Gilani reciting the Azaan into his newborn son’s ears, following the Islamic tradition of welcoming a baby.

The couple had kept the pregnancy private, although some fans had speculated about it after noticing what they believed was a baby bump during Mawra’s appearances in a drama.

Mawra and Ameer tied the knot in February 2025 after years of public speculation about their relationship. The two actors have worked together on several television projects, including the dramas Sabaat (2020) and Neem (2023).

The birth of their son marks a new chapter in the couple’s life, with their announcement drawing warm wishes from fans and followers on social media.
