Measles claim lives of five children in Lahore

LAHORE: Measles has taken the lives of five children in Lahore’s Patoki area. In response, a team of doctors was swiftly dispatched to Patoki following orders from the Punjab Health Minister.

The Minister announced urgent monitoring of the entire area in light of this development, aiming to address the situation promptly and effectively.

They mentioned that an inquiry would be initiated into the children’s deaths in Patoki, and those responsible would be identified and held accountable.

The Punjab Health Minister further stated that alerts have been issued in hospitals across Punjab.

Residents of the area report that the condition of 6 other children remains concerning.
