Nawaz to return on special flight ‘Umeed-e-Pakistan’

LONDON: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has chartered a special aircraft from Dubai for the return of the party’s supremo anf former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz is scheduled to fly back to Pakistan on October 21, and the flight has been named as “Umeed-e-Pakistan” [Pakistan’s hope].
The PML-N’s supremo will be accompanied by party leaders, workers and journalists based in London. The special flight will arrive in Islamabad from Dubai and then fly to Lahore after half an hour.
Sharif is expected to address a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan after reaching Lahore.
Separately, Sharif is scheduled to depart from London to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to perform Umrah. He is expected to stay in Saudi Arabia for about a week, during which he will have multiple meetings.

PML-N chief organizer and Vice-President Maryam Nawaz said on Sunday that her father is returning back to Pakistan to cope with multitude of problems including skyrocketing inflation, unemployment and inflated electricity bills.
