The moment took place during NBC’s pre-game coverage of the Broncos–Commanders matchup. Jayden Daniels remains sidelined with a dislocated elbow, so Marcus Mariota started for Washington, with rookie Bo Nix leading Denver into the primetime fixture.
Clips of the broadcast spread quickly on social media, where some fans questioned whether Harrison had suffered a medical issue. Several posts went further, with users expressing concern that the stumble resembled the early signs of a stroke.

Others said they were “genuinely worried” when watching live, though Harrison appeared to recover later in the segment and continued with the broadcast.
Harrison, 52, played in the NFL from 1994 to 2008 with the Chargers and Patriots, winning two Super Bowls and earning three All-Pro selections. He has been part of NBC’s Sunday Night Football coverage for several years.
NBC has not commented on the incident, and fans are hoping it was simply a brief on-air stumble rather than a serious health scare.
