LAHORE: Pakistan’s leading entertainment stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, who are set to release their much-anticipated film Neelofar on November 28, unveiled the film’s first song on a crisp autumn evening in Lahore, at the historic Sir Ganga Ram House—a perfect reflection of the city’s timeless charm.
The exclusive event offered a soulful glimpse into Neelofar’s musical world, setting the tone for one of the year’s most awaited films. The night celebrated the launch of the movie’s first music video, sung by Vicky Haider, marking an emotional and memorable milestone in Neelofar’s journey.
Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan led the autumn soirée, while Yasir Hussain co-hosted the gathering, welcoming guests from Pakistan’s music, fashion, and entertainment circles.
The intimate celebration drew several of the country’s leading artists and musicians including Seemi Raheel, HAVI, Nameer Khan, Zeb Bangash, Mooroo, and Ken Doll, who added warmth, wit, and vibrance to the creative gathering.
Among the attendees were acclaimed designers, socialites, and emerging talents—all coming together to celebrate the spirit of Neelofar and its promise of heartfelt storytelling through music.
The unveiled song, beginning with the line “Tu Meri Zindagi Aik Naya Rang Hai,” stands as the lyrical and emotional centerpiece of the film—its poetic spirit defining Neelofar’s essence. The movie unfolds a love story where sight is transcended by connection, and silence speaks through melody.
In the film, Fawad Khan plays Mansoor Ali Khan, while Mahira Khan stars as Neelofar, a visually impaired yet radiant soul. Their story—Mansoor and Neelofar—has already been hailed as one of the most touching romantic narratives to emerge from Pakistani cinema in recent years.
At the event, both stars shared their reflections on the film’s journey.
Fawad said, “Neelofar is a story that lives in emotions, and this song is its heartbeat. Tonight was about sharing that feeling with everyone who has believed in the film’s journey.”
Mahira added, “This film is deeply personal to me. Seeing everyone respond so emotionally to the song tonight reminded me why we made Neelofar—it’s about love in its purest, most soulful form.”
Written and directed by Ammar Rasool, Neelofar is produced by Fawad Khan, Hassaan Khalid, and Usaf Shariq.
