Only PPP can take Pakistan out of current malaise: Bilawal

DI KHAN: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the people of Pakistan need an ideology and a manifesto, that would reduce their difficulties, but no one, including Raiwand (PML-N leaders), feels the problems being faced by the people of Pakistan.

Addressing an election rally at Haq Nawaz Park in Dera Ismail Khan, Bilawal thanked the people of DI Khan for the splendid reception, saying that his and DI Khan’s relationship was three generations old and the people of DI Khan have always welcomed him with love.

He said that he was very happy to come to DI Khan today, and he was standing in front of the brave and loyal brothers.

He said that except for the PPP, the other parties represent the elite, but his has been representing the people for three generations and stands with them.

He said that the terrorists who were defeated were raising their heads again, but “we will suppress the terrorists once again.”

The former foreign minister said that former premier Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had contested the election from DI Khan, and now there was no excuse and the election was going to be held on February 8, and there will be a rain of arrows in Dera Ismail Khan on February 8.

He said that the PPP workers were loyal people and the workers of Benazir Bhutto were in the field in DI Khan.

Bilawal further said that the current economic crisis was the biggest challenge in the country’s history, “but when the people of Pakistan are in trouble, the PPP does not leave them alone.”

He said that now the competition is between the arrow and the lion, no one else is in the field. “Whether you like it or not, Khan Sahib (Imran Khan) is out of this election race and Maulana (Fazlur Rehman) did not even come to ask for your vote, and he is also out. Now only the competition is between the arrow and the lion” he said.

He said that it was said that it is very cold in DI Khan, it is difficult to run an election campaign, what will happen to those who do not want to run an election campaign because of the cold.

He said that on February 8, when the PPP wins, “I will bury the politics of hatred and division. I appeal to the people of Pakistan to choose a new vision and a new Pakistan.”

He said that “In Sindh, 2 million houses are being constructed for the flood-affected, and the legal ownership of these houses is being registered in the name of female heads of households. Convey my message to the flood victims and residents of makeshift settlements that I will only build homes for them but also regularize these settlements and provide property rights to the inhabitants.”
