PAF Chief commemorates ‘Marka-e-Haq’ anniversary, hails decisive response to Indian aggression

WEB DESK: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu has lauded the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its “historic and decisive” role in defending the nation’s sovereignty during a ceremony at Air Headquarters to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.

Addressing the gathering, the Air Chief praised the force’s operational brilliance, noting that the PAF’s response to external threats had cemented its status as a formidable shield for the country’s aerial frontiers, according to Samaa News.

A firm rebuff to aggression

In a detailed address, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu recounted the events leading up to the conflict, stating that India had levelled “baseless allegations” against Pakistan following a false-flag incident in Pahalgam.

Despite Pakistan’s offer of an impartial investigation, the Air Chief noted that India chose the path of aggression a move that was met with a swift and punishing riposte.

He maintained that the PAF’s performance was nothing short of historic, asserting that the force successfully targeted all designated enemy installations and inflicted “severe damage” on India’s air defence infrastructure within record time.

Dominance across modern domains

The Air Chief further claimed that the PAF’s reach extended from Srinagar to Bathinda, resulting in significant humiliation for the Indian Air Force.

According to the Air Marshal, the PAF managed to neutralise high-tier fighter jets and the S-400 air defence system “in a matter of moments.”

Highlighting the evolution of modern warfare, he specifically pointed to the success of “Operation Bunyanun Marsus,” where the PAF’s advanced drone capabilities were on full display.

He also credited Pakistan’s “cyber-kings” for dismantling the enemy’s digital security, ensuring total dominance across aerial, electronic, and cyber domains.
