Pakistan to host Sri Lanka, England in three-nation cricket series

WEB DESK: Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England in a packed international cricket schedule from October 9 to November 21, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced.

According to the PCB, Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan will begin on October 4, with the two sides set to play three matches in Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13.

England will then join Pakistan and Sri Lanka in an ODI tri-series, which will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31, the domestic board said.

Sri Lanka will also play a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6 before facing Pakistan in a two-Test series.

The Test series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.

The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while the second Test is scheduled for Lahore from November 17 to 21.

Currently, the England team are hosting the Pakistan national team in a three-match Test series taking place in Leeds City of England.

Meanwhile, the England team have won their last two ODI series under the captaincy of Harry Brook, with the recent one against India and the last one against Sri Lanka. Pakistan won their last two ODI series: 2–1 against South Africa and 2–1 against Sri Lanka.
