Pakistan U-18 volleyball team defeats Iran to win Central Asian Championship

TASHKENT: The Pakistan U-18 volleyball team clinched the Central Asian Volleyball Association Boys Under-18 Championship by defeating Iran three sets to one in the final on Monday.

The championship took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Pakistan secured their spot in the final by triumphing over Uzbekistan with a clean three-set victory in the semi-finals.

The tournament featured teams from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

In the pool matches, Pakistan defeated all teams except Iran. Although Iran edged out Pakistan in a tough pool match, Pakistan avenged that loss by overpowering the Iranian team in the final to win the championship.
