KARACHI: Pakistan’s tallest building, an 82-storey tower named Burj-e-Quaid, will be constructed in DHA City Karachi after a formal agreement was signed between the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and ABS Developers, officials said.

The project, planned over nearly six acres of land in DHA City Karachi, aims to feature modern architectural design and is expected to be completed within six years, according to details shared by the developers.

Officials said that Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has also issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) for the project, clearing a key regulatory hurdle for the high-rise development.

The tower is expected to become the country’s tallest building upon completion.
