PDMA issues report on recent rain-related incidents

WEB DESK: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a report detailing damages caused by recent rains and flash floods in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 19 to July 26.

According to the PDMA report, 32 people have lost their lives in various rain-related incidents across the province.

The casualties include 13 men, three women, and 16 children, the authority said.

The report said that recent rains and flash floods damaged a total of 72 houses, including 55 partially damaged and 17 destroyed homes.

PDMA also reported that 46 livestock were killed in different incidents during the recent spell of heavy rains.

The authority continues to monitor the situation and assess damages caused by extreme weather events across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
