Petrol price up by 77 paisa, diesel down by Rs1.03 under new govt rates

WEB DESK: The federal government on Monday revised the prices of petrol and High Speed Diesel (HSD), following an update issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

According to the OGRA notification approved by the federal government, the price of petrol has been increased by 77 paisa per litre, while the price of HSD has been reduced by Rs1.03 per litre.

Following the revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs342.02 per litre, while HSD will now be available at Rs371.44 per litre.

The latest revision comes after a two-day gap, with the previous fuel price update announced on Friday.

The revised prices will take effect immediately, according to the notification.
