PIA suspends employee for harassing female staff member at Canadian hotel

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its flight attendant, Muhammad Idris Khan, for engaging in inappropriate behaviour with a female employee at a hotel in Canada. The national flag carrier has also imposed travel restrictions on Khan.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the airline’s country manager in Canada immediately ordered Idris’s suspension upon receiving an email complaint regarding the incident. Along with the suspension, Muhammad Idris Khan has been barred from being assigned any flights to Canada.

Muhammad Idris Khan arrived in Toronto on July 7 via PIA flight PK-781 from Islamabad. Further action is being taken against him in response to the complaint filed by the affected woman.
