RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of attempting to create a rift between PTI and the military.

Omar Ayub Khan, speaking to the media about his meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan, said that Imran emphasised the military is an integral part of the nation, and vice versa. Ayub also clarified that no discussions about dialogue took place during the meeting.

Ayub further stated that they are actively working for Imran Khan’s release and accused the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of obstructing the release of former First Lady Bushra Bibi, despite her lack of involvement in the Toshakhana case.

Earlier, in another press conference, Omar Ayub stated that amendments to the election act are being made specifically to target PTI, and such controversial legislation will not hold up in any court.
