Punjab Poultry Traders Association announces reduction in chicken prices

Lahore: The Poultry Association of Punjab has announced a reduction of Rs10 in the price of chicken meat in the open market following successful negotiations with the provincial government.

An agreement has been reached between the Poultry Association and the government to reduce the price of chicken to Rs25 per kilogram during the Ramazan markets. The decisions to decrease chicken meat prices will be implemented starting today (Tuesday).

The Provincial Minister of Industries and Commerce has affirmed that prices of essential commodities will also be reduced.
