PTI decides on 14 candidates for reserved seats in Punjab

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized a roster of 14 female candidates from Punjab for the reserved seats in the National Assembly. The list awaits final approval from former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The lineup features prominent figures from PTI’s Women’s Wing in Punjab, including Kanwal Shauzab, President of PTI Women’s Wing, Alia Hamza, a former Member of the National Assembly, and Rubina Shaheen, General Secretary of PTI Women’s Wing.
Other notable names include Simabia Tahir, former President of PTI Women’s Wing for Northern Punjab, Farukhunda Kokab, Shahnaz Tariq, President of PTI Women’s Wing for Central Punjab, Dr. Misbah Zafar, General Secretary of PTI Women’s Wing for Punjab, and Rubia Jameel, a former Member of National Assembly.

Also on the list are Rehana Dar, a candidate from Sialkot in the 2024 general elections, Khadija Shah, Farrukh Agha, former President of PTI Women’s Wing for Rawalpindi, Dr. Nousheen Hamid, former President of PTI Women’s Wing for Central Punjab, Rabia Cheema, wife of former Punjab Governor Omar Cheema, and Firdous Rehana.
