PPP submits application to celebrate President Zardari’s birthday at Minar-e-Pakistan

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) submitted an application to hold a ceremony at Minar-e-Pakistan on the night of July 25 to celebrate the birthday of the party chairman and President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
According to Lahore News, an application written to Deputy Commissioner Lahore by PPP leader Faisal Mir seeks permission to hold a cake-cutting ceremony and fireworks.

PPP has requested permission for arrangements such as seating and tents for 1000 individuals. Sources indicate they have also applied for authorisation to host a musical evening as part of the event.
PPP has decided to commemorate President Asif Ali Zardari’s 69th birthday on July 26 as “President Pakistan’s Day.”
Earlier today, PPP South Punjab announced plans to celebrate Zardari’s birthday and instructed all party organizations and allied officials in South Punjab to arrange lively birthday festivities.
