PTI’s Sanam Javed shifted to KP House in Islamabad

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed has been relocated to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the authorities concerned not to arrest her until Thursday.
According to a spokesperson for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Yar Muhammad Niazi, Sanam Javed was shifted to the KP House on the instructions of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The spokesperson also confirmed that Sanam Javed’s family is also accompanying her, and they will all stay together at KP House.
He said that Ali Amin Gandapur has also been in contact with Sanam Javed’s father and husband.
Earlier, the IHC barred the Islamabad police and administration from arresting Sanam Javed until Thursday, and permitted her go home in Islamabad. The IHC ordered that Javed cannot leave the jurisdiction of Islamabad until the next hearing.
The Islamabad High Court also sought records of all cases filed against Sanam Javed.
IHC Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb instructed lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq that Sanam Javed should remain silent until the next hearing.
