Earlier today, Javed was prepped to be handed over to Balochistan police. However, after her father’s appeal filed in IHC, the high court summoned Javed along with other parties
The petition named the federal government, FIA, IG Islamabad, and others as respondents, requesting the court to declare Sanam Javed’s detention or abduction illegal.
Javed was released by Islamabad’s District and Sessions Court on Sunday after the court accepted her lawyer’s application for discharge from the cases against her.
