Punjab CM departs on official visit to Azerbaijan

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has left for a three-day official visit to Azerbaijan to represent Pakistan at the World Urban Forum in Baku starting in the coming week.

The event where CM Nawaz will represent Pakistan in will take place from May 17 to 20.

She is scheduled to meet the President of Azerbaijan on May 17, marking a key engagement during her trip.

The Punjab chief minister will also be hosted as a special state guest in Azerbaijan.

She will address the World Leaders Summit at the Baku Olympic Stadium, highlighting Pakistan’s participation in the global forum.

Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Information Minister Azma Bukhari are accompanying the chief minister on the visit.
