Rain and hailstorm hit parts of Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Several areas of Islamabad experienced rain accompanied by thunder on Monday, bringing a sudden change in weather across the federal capital.

According to reports, showers were recorded in multiple sectors, including G-6 and G-12, where rainfall was observed at various locations. Residents in these areas reported cloudy skies followed by bursts of rain and thunder.

Meanwhile, parts of F-8 were hit by hail, adding intensity to the weather conditions. The hailstorm, though brief, was noticeable in several localities and caused a drop in temperature.

The rainfall provided relief from the heat but also led to temporary disruptions in traffic movement in some areas. No major damage or injuries were reported.
