The ministry said the operation hit key sites used by Ukrainian forces, aiming to disrupt military logistics and operational capabilities. Russian media outlets reported the strikes as part of ongoing military actions in the region, according to CGTN.

Targets hit in coordinated operation

The attacks focused on several strategic locations, with officials claiming successful strikes on airfields and critical energy and transport networks. Ukrainian authorities have not yet issued a detailed response to the latest Russian claims.

The development comes amid continued hostilities between the two countries, with both sides reporting regular cross-border strikes.

This latest round of strikes underscores the persistent intensity of the conflict, now well into its fourth year, as both sides continue to target each other’s military and dual-use infrastructure in a war that has caused widespread destruction and displacement across the region.
