Pakistan batter Salman Ali Agha has climbed one place to 12th in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI batting rankings, while Arafat Minhas has surged 33 places to 83rd in the bowling rankings.
Salman’s rise follows a return to form after a difficult run in Test cricket against England, who hosted Pakistan for a three-match series. He was dropped from Pakistan’s Test squad after the second Test at Lord’s, which ended on August 31, 2026.
The batter subsequently bounced back in the President’s Trophy Grade-I, smashing an unbeaten triple century against MIT Solutions on September 13, 2026.
Salman carried his form into the ongoing ODI tri-series, featuring hosts Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka, scoring 107 off 90 balls in the opening match against Sri Lanka on October 18 to help Pakistan secure victory.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan has slipped four places to 34th in the ODI batting rankings, while Fakhar Zaman has dropped three places to 44th. Saim Ayub has fallen eight places to 58th.
Fakhar and Saim’s rankings have declined following modest returns in their first two matches of the tri-series. Fakhar scored 16 against Sri Lanka on October 18 before being dismissed for a duck against England on October 20. Saim managed seven and eight runs in the respective matches.
Babar Azam has retained seventh position in the ODI batting rankings. He scored 45 runs against Sri Lanka in Pakistan’s opening match, taking his career tally beyond 6,000 runs in the format.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Abrar Ahmed has retained second position, while Shaheen Shah Afridi remains eighth. Haris Rauf has climbed two places to 20th, and Naseem Shah has risen four places to 45th.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Wasim Jr has dropped seven places to 75th, while Mohammad Nawaz has slipped four places to 88th.
