Sarfraz Bugti nominated CM Balochistan

QUETTA: Pakistan People Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has nominated Sarfraz Bugti as Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan.

Sarfraz Bugti, formerly the Home Minister in the caretaker government, took a significant political turn when he resigned from his post a few weeks before the February 8 elections, announcing his decision to join the PPP.

No one has so far submitted nominations paper for CM Balochistan.

According to sources, Asif Ali Zardari will formally announce his nominations.

This announcement holds significance as it will shape the leadership structure in Balochistan, reflecting the collaborative efforts of various political entities in forming a government in the province.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is anticipated to play a role in the government formation, according to insiders familiar with the evolving political landscape.
