ISLAMABAD: The district administration of Islamabad has decided to close all educational institutions including private and public schools for the next two days.
According to a notification issued in this regard, all educational institutions in the city will remain closed for the next two days. The closures include schools, colleges, universities, and training institutes.
However, as per the notification, ongoing examinations in educational institutions will continue as scheduled.

Meanwhile, holidays have also been announced in schools across Punjab, including Lahore, until May 11.
According to the secretary of education Punjab, public and private educational institutions in Punjab will remain closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Considering the current situation, the decision to grant holidays has been made, but regular academic activities in educational institutions will resume from Monday.
Meanwhile, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has ordered the indefinite closure of all schools — both public and private — amid rising tensions due to Indian aggression along the Line of Control LoC).
