Six terrorists killed in separate KP operations: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Six terrorists were killed by security forces in two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

“After intense combat, the operation successfully neutralised five terrorists,” the military’s media wing said in a statement.

During a recent encounter in North Waziristan, troops successfully engaged the location of terrorists, resulting in the death of one additional militant.

According to the ISPR statement, the killed terrorists were actively engaged in various other terrorist activities in the region, targeting both innocent civilians and security forces. Additionally, the statement noted the discovery of ammunition and firearms from the militants.
