On November 5, the court noted the filing of 38 new cases, alongside the resolution of 220 cases.

Currently, the total number of pending cases in the Supreme Court stands at 59,435, a decrease from the previous figure of 59,782.
The issue of backlog has been an ongoing issue within the country’s judiciary, often leading to prolonged delays. The court has faced increasingly criticism regarding its ability to manage the growing number of cases filed annually.
