Tarar hails Pakistan’s diplomatic gains, accuses India of continued conspiracies

India of continued conspiracies

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that India continues to conspire against Pakistan, while Pakistan has achieved significant diplomatic successes acknowledged globally.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on “Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements,” Tarar said that the services of those who worked for Pakistan on the diplomatic front will always be remembered.

“The world acknowledges that Pakistan’s foreign service is among the best — it has proud traditions that we continue to uphold,” he said.

Tarar said that he takes pride in how the foreign service continues to carry forward its traditions. “Diplomacy is an art that comes not just from learning but from experience and dedication. Our foreign service officers have always made Pakistan shine on the global stage,” he added.

The minister noted that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, suffering the most from it.

“Pakistan was falsely accused of promoting terrorism. After the Pahalgam incident, fingers were immediately pointed at us, but Pakistan itself is the biggest victim of terrorism,” he said.

Tarar said that the prime minister had offered India an independent investigation into the Pahalgam attack, and Pakistan’s stance was endorsed by friendly countries.

“Due to our diplomatic efforts, we received overwhelming support from across the world. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, we defeated an adversary four times larger than us,” he stated.

He further said India, as always, has been guilty of aggression and is still hatching conspiracies against Pakistan.

“Our coast guards arrested a sailor spying for India, who revealed the entire story of how he was being used by Indian intelligence agencies,” he said.

Tarar said that when war was imposed on Pakistan, the armed forces responded decisively.

The minister also said the prime minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia marked a major milestone with the signing of a strategic economic framework.

“Our focus now is to promote foreign investment in Pakistan, strengthen ties with Central Asian states, and use Pakistani ports to expand trade. We aim to achieve new economic heights and deepen our economic and trade relations with friendly nations,” he concluded.
